TL;DR

Director, Business Development (Life Sciences): Expanding the client base for Quality & Compliance solutions within biotech, medical device, and pharmaceutical organizations with an accent on strategic growth and revenue generation. Location: Must be based in the United States; Remote work is supported, with a hybrid option for those near office locations.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships to expand the client base and generate revenue.
  • Identify immediate market needs through lead generation and execution of growth initiatives.
  • Lead sales meetings and presentations for prospective clients to showcase company services.
  • Attend key industry conferences and trade shows to increase company visibility.
  • Negotiate contracts, agreements, and write detailed proposals for submission to clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing and client-facing teams to execute sales plans based on competitor analysis.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in the United States
  • At least 5 years of sales experience within the life sciences field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Proven ability to build teams and meet goals in a high-growth business environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills at both strategic and functional levels.
  • Experience using CRM tools to document leads and monitor sales metrics.
