What you will do

• Lead budget negotiations with clinical study sites, such as hospitals, for multiple clinical studies.
• Develop, review, and negotiate budgets and amendments for clinical trial sites.
• Act as a core liaison between Clinical Research and Legal departments to coordinate contract requests.
• Track site start-up progress and communicate strategic implications and potential delays to management.
• Maintain and update budget and contract data within the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS).
• Provide training and support for complex budget topics to junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, finance, legal, or a related field.
• 8+ years of clinical budget or similar relevant experience.
• Experience in creating and negotiating budgets and familiarity with clinical trial agreements.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Outstanding written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be able to work onsite in Alameda, CA.
