What you will do

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, setting clear goals and performance expectations.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Coordinate billing and invoicing for pharma manufacturers and vendors, meeting strict turnaround times.
  • Manage SOX controls and support internal and external audit processes to maintain financial integrity.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Partner with FP&A, Legal, and Product teams to support new product launches and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Must be based in North Carolina (Remote NC).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA is a plus).
  • 8+ years of related accounting experience, including at least 3 years of operational accounting management.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience in a public company or high-growth environment.
  • Experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, or regulated industries is highly desirable.
