What you will do

  • Investigate and resolve escalated billing errors, benefit calculations, and eligibility disputes.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on systemic issues such as billing delays and data reconciliation.
  • Coordinate corrective actions, including claim and accumulator adjustments, with internal and external partners.
  • Act as the primary bridge between Operations, Product, Engineering, Finance, and external payers.
  • Reconcile claims data and finance outputs across multiple platforms to ensure accurate member statements.
  • Identify trends in escalations to propose and implement systemic process improvements.

Requirements

  • Active work authorization in the US is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in medical billing, health benefits, or escalation management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Deep understanding of claims lifecycle, benefits design, accumulations logic, and insurance adjudication.
  • Proficiency with billing systems (EHRs), issue tracking tools (Zendesk, Jira), and data platforms (Google Sheets, Looker).
  • Strong analytical skills for root-cause analysis and managing multi-stakeholder issues.
