TL;DR

External Wholesaler (Life Insurance): Driving growth of the individual life insurance business through partnerships with advisors and brokerage teams with an accent on strategic account management and product expertise. Focus on delivering tailored insurance solutions and expanding market presence within the assigned territory.

Location: Remote - US. Must reside in TX, NM, AZ, CO, OK, or KS. Ability to travel 25-50% required.

Compensation: $62K-$70K base range with total target compensation of $185K - $256K.

What you will do

  • Partner with advisors to deliver tailored life insurance solutions supported by clear product insights.
  • Conduct confident presentations in one-on-one and group settings, both virtually and in person.
  • Build and sustain strong sales relationships across the assigned territory through proactive outreach and strategic account management.
  • Execute targeted activity plans to drive new opportunities and grow sales volume.
  • Monitor territory performance and provide regular updates to sales leadership.
  • Manage field travel and expenses effectively to maximize time in the territory.

Requirements

  • Must reside in TX, NM, AZ, CO, OK, or KS.
  • Ability to travel 25-50%.
  • 5+ years of experience in life insurance wholesale distribution.
  • FINRA Series 6 and State Life and Health license required at time of application.
  • FINRA Series 63 required at time of application or must be obtained within 6 months.
  • High school diploma.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Industry Designations: CLU, ChFC, and/or CFP.
  • 2+ years of experience specifically in an external wholesaling position.
  • Proven track record of success with career brokers and achieving territory sales objectives.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
