Senior PCB Designer (RF)

Location: Eatontown, New Jersey, United States; onsite office environment

Salary: $89,837–$149,728 annually, with a potential annual or quarterly bonus.

What you will do

• Design moderate-to-complex digital, analog, power, RF, multilayer, and flex PCB layouts using Siemens Xpedition, Cadence Allegro, OrCAD, Altium, and related tools.
• Create component placement, routing, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, ODB++ outputs, and PCB/CCA manufacturing documentation.
• Apply high-speed design constraints including differential pairs, controlled impedance, length matching, delay tuning, and routing topologies.
• Implement RF transmission line layouts, microstrip and coplanar waveguide structures, signal isolation, via fencing, and specialized RF routing.
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate with signal integrity, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, process engineering, and program management teams.
• Maintain engineering change documentation, support redesigns, and provide layout feedback for functionality and manufacturability.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required due to ITAR requirements and the need to qualify for a potential U.S. Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• At least 5 years of hands-on PCB design experience, including Siemens Xpedition, Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, and/or Altium.
• Knowledge of IPC standards, including IPC-2221/3 and IPC Class III design and manufacturing practices.
• Experience creating electrical drafting, fabrication, assembly, schematic library, and PCB footprint documentation.
• Associate degree in electrical design/drafting or a bachelor’s degree in electronic technology; relevant training or career experience may substitute with a 5–10-year track record.
• Understanding of stack-up construction, impedance modeling, component datasheets, manufacturability, and sustaining design support.

Nice to have

• PCB design experience in aerospace and defense.
• CID/CID++ certification for PCB designers.
• Experience with Valor, CAM350, Siemens BluePrint, or similar CAM and DFM tools.
