Transmission & Structural Project Manager (Power Delivery)

Location: Remote within the United States, with preferred locations in San Diego, CA; Houston, TX; or Denver, CO

Salary: Minimum $125,000 annually, negotiable based on experience, skills, certifications, and location

What you will do

• Schedule and monitor engineering design activities and project progress.
• Coordinate with clients and serve as the primary point of contact for project responsibilities.
• Develop proposals, pursue new work, conduct client outreach, and create change orders.
• Track project budgets, allocate resources, and approve and edit timesheets for direct reports.
• Lead internal and external meetings related to project scope and schedule.
• Provide technical expertise for transmission lines, distribution lines, structures, and associated power delivery systems, including calculations, modeling, and design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in electric distribution engineering, preferably with a utility or consulting firm.
• 4–5 years of project management experience or experience as a lead engineer on a project.
• Experience working with major investor-owned utilities in the United States.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, CYME, or similar distribution modeling tools.
• Strong knowledge of NESC, NEC, utility design standards, communication, and leadership.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• PMP certification.
