Commissioning Manager

Location: Texas, USA; remote role with travel to job sites and customer locations

Starting compensation: $89,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate job-site installation and startup of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Work with project managers, contractors, engineers, technicians, and customer representatives.
• Conduct site inspections, prepare reports, and manage contractor interfaces.
• Guide technicians during equipment startup and coordinate multiple active sites.
• Review submittals, specifications, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
• Support customer needs through travel, presentations, mediation, and negotiation.

Requirements

• At least three years of construction management experience.
• Previous experience managing the installation of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Thorough understanding of equipment installation and the ability to read wiring diagrams and layout drawings.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organization, communication, presentation, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent driving record and ability to travel and work hours required by customer needs.
