What you will do
- Lead projects as Phase Manager, handling scope, budget, task delegation, client interaction, and execution while consulting with Team Lead.
- Perform QA/QC checks on work of designers, drafters, and engineers for quality and accuracy.
- Review detailed physical engineering for substations and BESS, including general arrangements, site layouts, bill of materials, bus sizing, grounding, and conduit plans.
- Prepare calculations, models, cost estimates, reports, and proposals; manage deliverables and deadlines.
- Train junior engineers and designers in physical design; coach and mentor team members.
- Conduct occasional field inspections and construction supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Civil or Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of relevant engineering or field experience.
- FE or PE licensure preferred.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, MathCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective written and oral communication skills; good interpersonal skills.
