What you will do

• Develop electrical system designs for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and nurse call systems.
• Perform existing building surveys to document electrical and fire alarm conditions.
• Prepare, edit, and coordinate electrical specifications and construction documents.
• Author engineering reports, assessment reports, and Basis of Design (BOD) documents.
• Coordinate with internal project teams, architects, and other engineering disciplines.
• Support construction administration activities, including RFI and submittal reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of electrical design experience.
• Must be based in or able to work in Tustin, CA.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and design guidelines.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Knowledge of and experience with HCAI / OSHPD standards.
• LEED accreditation or sustainable design experience.
• Experience with healthcare, science and technology, or education buildings.
