Client Experience Specialist (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid in Austin, TX or Scottsdale, AZ

What you will do

• Handle client cancellation requests and identify opportunities to retain accounts.
• Build rapport, address objections, and find practical solutions during difficult client conversations.
• Conduct proactive outreach using strong verbal and written communication.
• Capture thorough churn reasons and maintain high data quality for data-driven improvements.
• Manage retention tasks, timelines, notes, metrics, and reporting across multiple client challenges.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support retention and expansion strategies.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in a client retention role, preferably at a SaaS company.
• Experience working toward KPIs related to retaining and growing client accounts.
• At least 1 year of experience working with software, ideally in web design, development, or marketing.
• Strong active listening, verbal and written communication, organization, adaptability, and customer empathy.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Austin, Texas, or Scottsdale, Arizona.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with residential real estate, real estate agents, or real estate technology.
• Experience at a SaaS company.
