Salary: $235,000 - $283,000 a year

What you will do

• Build and lead the CAPEX & Tooling Procurement organization, including hiring and mentoring Strategic Sourcing Managers.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for factory build-outs, production equipment, and automation infrastructure.
• Oversee supplier strategy for all factory and sub-assembly tooling, including robots, stamping dies, casting tooling, and molds.
• Lead complex commercial negotiations for master agreements, tooling contracts, SOWs, and pricing frameworks.
• Drive total cost of ownership (TCO) modeling, should-cost analysis, and cost transparency initiatives.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Finance to align on industrialization roadmaps and factory design.

Requirements

• 10+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain leadership experience.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience, specifically leading and developing sourcing teams.
• Significant experience leading CAPEX procurement and tooling sourcing within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience supporting the build-out or launch of a production factory or major manufacturing line.
• Strong commercial acumen with expertise in complex contract negotiation and supplier governance.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting greenfield factory builds or major production expansion programs.
• Background in automotive, EV, autonomous systems, aerospace, or other complex hardware production.
• Experience building procurement functions and category strategies from the ground up.
• Familiarity with tooling lifecycle management and amortization structures.
• MBA or advanced technical/supply chain degree.
