What you will do

• Perform and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals for month-end and year-end close.
• Maintain the general ledger ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end close across international subsidiaries, including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
• Manage multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange transactions.
• Support the preparation of schedules for external audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX.
• Collaborate with AP, AR, and FP&A departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a mix of public accounting and industry.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles.
• Expertise in foreign exchange transactions and intercompany elimination.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Palo Alto, CA.

Nice to have

• CPA or CPA eligibility.
• Experience in publicly traded technology, fintech, SaaS, or digital asset companies.
