What you will do
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes under US GAAP.
- Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reviews with business stakeholders.
- Prepare payments, reconcile payment activity, and manage contract deliverables.
- Support financial reporting, external audits, and internal controls.
- Maintain general ledger integrity and improve ERP and automation systems.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives involving monetization models, international expansion, product launches, and M&A.
Requirements
- Active CPA license required.
- 2–6 years of progressive accounting experience in technology or high-growth internet companies.
- Experience in both early-stage startups and public companies.
- Strong US GAAP expertise and the ability to explain accounting concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Fluency in Excel and familiarity with modern finance systems, including crypto, ERP, and automation tooling.
Nice to have
- High transaction volume accounting experience.
- 2+ years of Big 4 experience.
- SQL skills.
