Technical Program Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Space Coast, Florida; relocation assistance is provided, including possible permanent relocation to Van Horn, Texas

What you will do

• Coordinate the design, development, testing, and production deployment of features across multiple technical teams.
• Define and manage program missions, roadmaps, goals, milestones, risks, dependencies, and technical requirements.
• Build implementation plans, coordinate release schedules, and report progress against technical milestones.
• Analyze system architecture, dependencies, scalability factors, business problems, and automation limitations.
• Align stakeholders, customers, engineering teams, and cross-functional partners to prioritize initiatives and make clear decisions.
• Use metrics, narratives, and program updates to drive improvements, resource allocation, and measurable returns on investment.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or asylee lawfully admitted into the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience working directly with software engineering teams.
• 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
• Experience managing cross-functional programs, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
• Strong organizational, communication, leadership, problem-solving, and data-analysis skills.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of project management experience covering scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical-path management.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Experience defining KPIs and SLAs for multi-million-dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
• Experience with Confluence, JIRA, and data analysis for actionable insights.
• Experience delivering large cross-functional initiatives while managing competing priorities.
