Requirements

  • 3-5 years of project or program management experience in complex hardware development.
  • Direct exposure to spacecraft, satellite component, or precision hardware development.
  • Working understanding of subsystem development lifecycles from requirements to manufacturing.
  • Ability to track interdependencies across mechanical, electrical, and integration workstreams.
  • Must be eligible for Canadian security clearance and Controlled Goods Program (CGP) compliance.
  • Strong communication skills for working with both on-bench engineers and remote leadership.

Nice to have

  • Experience with precision mechanical or electromechanical component development (e.g., reaction wheels, actuators).
  • Familiarity with rate manufacturing ramp-up for flight hardware.
  • Experience coordinating across geographically distributed teams (US-Canada).
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools like Wrike, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
