What you will do

• Lead SEC reporting functions, including the preparation of 10-K, 10-Q, S-1 filings, and quarterly earnings releases.
• Manage revenue recognition and reporting, including DSO analysis by product and payor.
• Collaborate on the development and implementation of SOX 404 processes and procedures.
• Analyze peer company filings and industry reports to assess financial disclosure trends.
• Support internal and external audits as well as regulatory examinations.
• Improve accounting procedures and systems to ensure efficient, standardized close operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Minimum of 6+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced biotech, diagnostic, or medical device environment.
• Must have Xifin RCM experience.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP and U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with SOX 404 and SEC reporting standards, including drafting footnote disclosures.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid from Brisbane, California.

Nice to have

• MBA or experience at a Big-4 accounting firm.
• Specific industry experience in diagnostics.
• Strong working knowledge of Netsuite.
