Salary: $240,000 - $280,000

What you will do

• Partner with the CEO and executive team to set and execute financial and operational strategies.
• Manage full-cycle close, global consolidation, revenue recognition, and multi-entity reporting.
• Own the strategic financial roadmap, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Oversee the preparation of GAAP financial statements and lead technical accounting research with emphasis on ASC 606.
• Manage relationships with Big 4 auditors, tax providers, and coordinate investor relations.
• Monitor cash runway and lead financial due diligence for equity/debt fundraising and M&A activity.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience with an active CPA.
• Senior leadership experience (VP, Director, or Controller) within a high-growth fintech or technology environment.
• Expert technical knowledge of US GAAP, specifically ASC 606 and ASC 350-40.
• Strong background in FP&A, including the ability to build complex financial models and budgets.
• Experience leading capital markets activities such as equity fundraising or debt financing.
• Must be located in one of the following states: CA, CO, NC, NJ, NV, or TX.

• Experience with B2B SaaS, enterprise businesses, or consumer fintech marketplaces.
• Proficiency with the fintech tech stack: NetSuite, FloQast, Carta, and modern BI tools.
