Location: Hybrid (New York, NY / Sunnyvale, CA / Dallas, TX). Remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office. Must be a U.S. person (citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to export control regulations.

Salary: $135,000 – $180,000 base

What you will do

• Own end-to-end accounting for JV entities, including monthly close, financial statements, and partner reporting.
• Lead VIE identification, assessment, and consolidation documentation under ASC 810.
• Manage equity method investments (ASC 323) and maintain technical accounting memos for audit scrutiny.
• Design and implement scalable, SOX-compliant accounting processes and infrastructure.
• Identify and implement AI-powered tools to automate close, document review, and reporting workflows.
• Directly manage and coach a team of Senior Accountants.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in joint ventures, partnerships, or structured finance.
• CPA required.
• Deep technical proficiency in ASC 810 and ASC 323, including primary beneficiary assessments.
• Experience in public accounting (Big 4 or equivalent) combined with industry experience.
• Must be a U.S. person (citizen, green card holder, refugee, or asylee) to comply with U.S. Government export regulations.
• Proven ability to build processes and controls from scratch in high-growth environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in infrastructure, real estate, or data center industries.
• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite in multi-entity environments.
• Experience applying AI tools to accounting workflows and technical research.
