Commercial Counsel (SaaS): Draft, review, and negotiate customer and vendor commercial agreements for a secure multi-cloud platform with an accent on risk management and contract standards. Location: Mountain View, CA. Must be based locally for a hybrid work arrangement.
Salary: $125,000 - $140,000 annually

What you will do
- Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of customer- and vendor-facing commercial agreements.
- Partner with Sales, Deal Operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive contracts through CRM and approval workflows.
- Serve as primary legal advisor during sales motions, resolving contractual and business risks to ensure timely deal closure.
- Communicate complex legal concepts and risk assessments to senior business leaders.
- Support broad legal matters including IP, HR, litigation, data privacy, and internal process improvements.
- Optimize legal workflows, templates, and internal processes for efficiency.
Requirements
- Active California or other State Bar membership in good standing.
- 1-2 years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, preferably in SaaS or technology.
- Working knowledge of SaaS risk areas: data privacy (GDPR/CPRA), IP, indemnification, and liability.
- Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ownership mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
