What you will do
- Lead the Deal Desk team in structuring complex SaaS deals, including multi-year subscriptions and usage-based components.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product teams to streamline deal processes and enforce pricing policies.
- Review and approve non-standard deals to ensure alignment with financial goals and revenue recognition standards.
- Optimize deal workflows and supporting systems, including CRM and CPQ tool enhancements.
- Define and maintain Deal Desk SLAs to improve turnaround expectations and cross-functional accountability.
- Analyze deal data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational scalability.
Requirements
- Must be based in the USA.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Finance.
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or team management role.
- Strong understanding of SaaS or subscription-based business models.
- Deep knowledge of pricing strategies, contract structures, and revenue recognition principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience with CPQ systems such as Salesforce or Apttus.
- Experience supporting CPQ implementation and rollout.
