Corporate Development Manager (SaaS)

What you will do

• Build and own the acquisition pipeline by mapping the market and identifying target companies.
• Develop complex financial models, including DCF, comparables, and scenario analysis.
• Coordinate end-to-end due diligence across financial, commercial, legal, and technical workstreams.
• Prepare executive-level investment memos and deal summaries for the CFO, CEO, and board.
• Support transaction execution, negotiation, and post-acquisition integration planning.
• Monitor competitive landscapes and M&A activity within the HR technology space.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada or the USA.
• 2–6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
• Expertise in building rigorous financial models from scratch.
• Hands-on experience executing transactions across the full deal lifecycle.
• Proven ability to independently manage multiple workstreams and produce executive-grade materials.

Nice to have

• Experience with M&A specifically in the software or SaaS domains.
• CFA, CPA, or equivalent financial credentials.
