TL;DR

Global Corporate Development Expert (Fintech): Identifying and leading strategic M&A opportunities in the US startup ecosystem with an accent on crypto and AI. Focus on sourcing acquihires, building founder relationships in the Bay Area, and executing end-to-end transactions to support international growth.

Location: Hybrid 2-3 times/week in Palo Alto/San Francisco. Must be based in or be able to relocate to the USA

Salary: $170,000 - $210,000 (Base)

What you will do

• Act as the primary point of contact for the US startup ecosystem, specifically focusing on crypto and AI.
• Source, evaluate, and execute acquihires and acquisitions in the crypto/Web3 space.
• Build and maintain a high-quality network of founders, VCs, and accelerators in the Bay Area.
• Identify strategic opportunities in AI and design that align with the global growth agenda.
• Lead end-to-end execution of transactions, coordinating across Legal, Finance, and business units.
• Synthesize complex opportunities into high-quality investment and partnership memos for senior leadership.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in Corporate Development, M&A, Investment Banking, or Venture Capital.
• Deep familiarity and an existing network within the Bay Area tech and startup ecosystem.
• Proven ability to lead complex transactions from sourcing and thesis development through to closing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive audiences.
• Ability to operate autonomously across different time zones.
• English: Fluency required.

• Experience within a global, fast-growing technology company in fintech, crypto, or AI.
• Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish.
