What you will do

• Own budget vs. actuals analysis across business functions with clear variance commentary.
• Partner with department heads on headcount planning, vendor spend, and initiative-level ROI.
• Build and maintain operating models, forecasts, and scenario analyses.
• Support monthly and quarterly close, including accrual analysis and leadership reporting.
• Develop financial models and dashboards for real-time business visibility.
• Leverage AI tools and workflows to improve the speed and quality of financial analysis.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting.
• Strong financial modeling skills and the ability to translate numbers into narratives.
• Proven experience with variance analysis, budget management, and close processes.
• AI-native mindset with the ability to incorporate AI into financial workflows.
• Must be based in the US or Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS or fintech company, or a large accounting firm.
• Familiarity with modern finance tools like Rillet, Ramp, or Abacum.
• Experience with BI tools such as Sigma.
• Knowledge of SQL.
