What you will do
- Lead the global indirect tax accounting and compliance lifecycle, including GL maintenance and timely filings.
- Review and prepare calculations for property, sales, gross receipts, use, franchise, and digital service taxes.
- Manage global external tax service providers and lead indirect tax audits, coordinating responses and documentation.
- Evaluate and enhance indirect tax processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Research technical indirect tax issues and monitor evolving laws and regulations.
- Execute tax-related internal controls and maintain supporting documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or advanced degree (MST/JD/LLM) is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in public accounting or industry with meaningful US indirect tax exposure.
- Strong hands-on experience with US state and local indirect tax compliance, tax accounting, and audit defense.
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with large volumes of structured data.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Effective communication skills to explain tax requirements to non-tax stakeholders.

- Familiarity with GST and VAT.
- Experience with NetSuite and products.
- Experience using AI and AI-related technologies in business workflows.
