Location: Remote (Must be based in the US)

Salary: $200,000 OTE

Early-stage company building a new kind of mental health program for kids that puts schools at the center.

What you will do

• Build and lead the accounting function, owning month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Lead the selection and implementation of a modern ERP (e.g., NetSuite, Intacct).
• Manage GAAP-compliant reporting and ensure the company is audit-ready for external reviews.
• Hire and mentor a small accounting team, starting with a Staff Accountant.
• Partner with BizOps, Data, and Health Plan Ops to connect financial reporting to operational metrics.

Requirements

• Strong GAAP foundation and experience with modern automation tools.
• Proven track record of leading external audits end-to-end.
• Experience with ERP selection, configuration, and implementation.
• Background in healthcare or payer-heavy environments (e.g., Medicaid, behavioral health).
• Must be authorized to work in the US (E-Verify).
