Salary: $119,000 - $149,000 USD (for Tier 1 markets)

What you will do

• Own the month-end close for debt, interest expense, fixed assets, leases, capitalized software, payroll, and share-based compensation.
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation in accordance with US GAAP.
• Design and maintain a robust accruals process for operating expenses and partner with business owners to improve forecasting.
• Identify and drive continuous improvements to close processes, including automation and enhanced documentation.
• Ensure strong internal controls and support SOX readiness initiatives by designing and operating effective controls.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (People, Legal, Treasury, Strategic Finance) and support ERP implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA license in good standing.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, with prior Big 4 experience highly preferred.
• Strong application of US GAAP (ASC 842, 470, 718, 350-40).
• Solid knowledge of internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Must be based in the US; hybrid presence in NYC, SF, or SLC is expected for those roles.
