What you will do

  • Execute full-cycle payroll for salaried and hourly employees across multiple states, including new hires, terminations, bonuses, and adjustments.
  • Support tax compliance by executing filings, payments, reconciliations using ADP SmartCompliance, and reviewing tax notices.
  • Perform payroll and tax reconciliations, review reports, investigate discrepancies, and prepare audit documentation.
  • Research and resolve payroll/tax issues, respond to employee inquiries on pay, taxes, and deductions.
  • Identify process improvements, collaborate with HR, Finance, and vendors, and contribute to documentation and training.

Requirements

  • Must have hands-on experience with end-to-end payroll in multi-state US environment using Workday.
  • Knowledge of payroll tax compliance across federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
  • Proven ability to manage tax filings, reconciliations, and notices with high accuracy using ADP SmartCompliance.
  • Experience handling discrepancies, audits, and complex payroll scenarios under strict deadlines.
  • Strong Excel proficiency including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs for data analysis.

Nice to have

  • CPP certification.
  • Experience with international payroll or teams outside the US.
  • Year-end activities like W-2/W-2c processing and payroll audits.
