Salary: CA$232,000 - $333,000

What you will do

• Lead delivery of new capabilities across authorization, clearing/settlement, and disputes.
• Ensure high reliability and low latency for transaction processing interfaces and related services.
• Evolve the infrastructure supporting physical network peering with card network partners.
• Raise the bar on operational excellence, including observability and incident response.
• Partner with Product and cross-functional stakeholders to focus engineering effort on high-impact work.
• Manage and grow engineers through coaching, feedback, and hiring.

Requirements

• Experience managing and growing engineers, including coaching and hiring.
• Strong system design skills for low-latency, high-availability systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Kotlin and AWS.
• Experience operating production services with strict uptime and latency requirements.
• Knowledge of networking infrastructure, including peering and failover.
