TL;DR

Senior IT Manager (Fintech): Leading global IT functions across service desk, infrastructure, and operations with an accent on modernization, operational resilience, and global scalability. Focus on integrating AI and automation into IT operations and managing complex hybrid cloud environments.

Location: Hybrid (Must work 3 days a week in the Toronto office)

Salary: CAD$140,000 – CAD$160,000

What you will do

  • Lead the global IT function across service desk, ITSM, infrastructure, cloud, and operations.
  • Own the IT roadmap, focusing on modernization, service delivery, and global scalability.
  • Provide technical leadership for AWS, Azure, VMware, Hyper-V, Cisco UCS, and HCI platforms.
  • Manage and develop IT leads and technical teams across multiple functional areas.
  • Introduce AI and automation into IT operations to improve efficiency and employee experience.
  • Partner with Security, Engineering, and Finance leaders to align IT with company growth.

Requirements

  • Experience leading IT, infrastructure, or technology operations teams in a global environment.
  • Hands-on technical background with AWS, Azure, VMware, Hyper-V, and Cisco UCS.
  • Strong understanding of ITSM, incident, change, and problem management.
  • Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and hands-on technical levels.
  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, or regulated technology environments.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the Toronto office 3 days per week.
