What you will do

• Lead the App & Checkout team to deliver the end-to-end customer journey from application to policy issuance.
• Mentor a distributed team of engineers and drive engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, and TPMs to set roadmaps and introduce new platform features.
• Participate in system design, code reviews, and direct code contributions.
• Drive the adoption of AI-augmented engineering tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) to reduce technical debt.
• Communicate complex technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with at least 1 year of management experience.
• Proficiency across the full stack: React, Remix, Nextjs, GoLang, Python, APIs, and databases.
• Must be eligible to work in the US (E-Verify used).
• Deep understanding of the SDLC, GenAI developer tooling, and continuous delivery.
• Proven track record of building and retaining high-performing teams.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
