Location: Hybrid (Washington DC, New York, Maryland, Virginia). Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Salary: $103,000 – $137,800

What you will do
- Own the annual operating cycle for medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement benefits programs.
- Conduct cost, utilization, and competitive benchmarking analyses to recommend plan improvements and cost containment.
- Manage vendor selection, contract renewals, and performance monitoring through established scorecards.
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and COBRA regulations, partnering with Legal and HR teams.
- Develop KPI dashboards to track participation, claims trends, and vendor performance.
- Lead end-to-end benefits projects including vendor transitions, system enhancements, and process improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in benefits, total rewards, or HR operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Deep knowledge of benefits regulations (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA).
- Proficiency with Workday or similar HRIS and benefits administration platforms.
- Strong analytical skills in Excel and experience with project management fundamentals.
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Gemini.
- Proficiency with Tableau or Power BI for data visualization.
- Experience with process automation.
