TL;DR

Senior Manager, People Technology & Strategy (AI-First HR Tech): Architecting an AI-driven People Technology ecosystem and roadmap that integrates intelligent automation into HR workflows with an accent on ethical AI implementation, build-vs-buy decisions, and alignment with business objectives. Focus on designing automation architecture via Workato iPaaS, overseeing Workday/Greenhouse/Peakon administration, and providing strategic advisory to leadership.

Location: Hybrid role based in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA office (at least two days per week). This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Salary: $152,000 - $190,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Design and lead an AI-First People Technology roadmap, including build-vs-buy decisions.
  • Act as strategic consultant to People leadership, translating tech initiatives into business value.
  • Build automation architecture to eliminate manual work across Talent Acquisition, Finance/Payroll, and IT using AI and Workato iPaaS.
  • Manage administration, security, and data integrity of Workday, Greenhouse, and Peakon.
  • Lead a small team, vendor QBRs, system updates, and change management.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in People Technology, strong preference for Workday and Greenhouse ATS.
  • 4+ years in management/team lead, with people development experience.
  • Expertise in automation/AI tools (Workato iPaaS, LLMs like Claude/Gemini/NotebookLM).
  • Experience in strategic roadmapping and presenting to executives.
  • Success in benchmarking systems and vendor management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
