Location: Los Angeles office, default together policy requires 4+ days per week in office

What you will do

• Work with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to produce PCB designs from prototype to mass production using Allegro.
• Design high-density PCBs, flexes, and rigid-flexes with microvias and fine-pitch BGAs.
• Create fabrication/assembly drawings, define design rules, and verify designs.
• Collaborate with suppliers on stackups/capabilities and manage external ECAD resources.
• Review Gerber/ODB++ data and drive simultaneous development of complex PCBs to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• 7+ years post-Bachelor’s in EE or related (or Master’s +6y, PhD +3y) in PCB layout for high-density HDI boards with fine-pitch BGAs (<0.5mm)
• Strong communication, logic/reasoning, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in cross-functional teams.
• Experience with PCB CAD tools for constrained designs.

Nice to have

• Consumer electronics at production scale.
• Impedance-controlled nets, multi-layer high-density with analog/RF/high-speed/power.
• IPC standards, DFM/DFA/DFT knowledge.
• Interfaces like USB, PCIE, CSI, MIPI, WIFI.
