What you will do

• Design and develop complex multilayer PCB layouts for new product development and sustaining engineering.
• Optimize board designs for electrical performance, manufacturability, reliability, cost, and quality.
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering teams from concept through production.
• Develop and maintain PCB design documentation, engineering releases, and manufacturing deliverables.
• Apply DFM, DFA, DFT, and IPC standards throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Support prototype builds, design verification, engineering changes, and production transfers.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Irvine, CA.
• 5+ years of PCB/PWB design experience in a product development environment.
• Proficiency with PCB CAD tools such as PADS, Altium Designer, or Cadence Allegro.
• Experience designing multilayer, high-density, and mixed-signal circuit boards.
• Strong knowledge of IPC standards and PCB manufacturing processes.
• Experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical devices or other regulated industries.
• Experience with rigid-flex PCB design and HDI technologies.
• Familiarity with signal integrity, power integrity, EMC/EMI, and mechanical integration.
• Experience mentoring technical staff and improving engineering processes.
