TL;DR

Acquisition Program Analyst, Senior (Defense): Providing PEM support for Global Reach programs of record across the AQQ portfolio with an accent on budget preparation, program execution, and lifecycle management. Focus on analyzing programmatic tradeoffs, managing PPBE documentation, and ensuring compliance with Air Force acquisition policies.

Location: Onsite 5 days per week at Headquarters Air Force, Pentagon

What you will do

  • Support HAF budget preparation, defense, and PEO program execution for aircraft platforms.
  • Analyze planning and scheduling data to provide recommendations on acquisition strategies and program phase transitions.
  • Prepare PPBE documentation and support HAF review processes such as AFROCs, JWCAs, and DABs.
  • Research program trends and identify programmatic issues and tradeoffs regarding capabilities, costs, and schedules.
  • Evaluate the impact of national, DoD, and civil government policies on Air Force acquisition programs.
  • Develop summary briefings and training materials for weapon program documentation.

Requirements

  • Active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering (or 12 years of relevant experience, or BA/BS plus 8 years).
  • 10 years of acquisition experience in a System Program Office and/or Air Force Headquarters.
  • Experience with DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, Teams) and Adobe Pro.
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days per week.
