Senior Program Manager (Defense)

Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 yearly

What you will do

• Direct project managers and subject matter experts to ensure all program objectives are met on schedule and within budget.
• Lead multidisciplinary programs supporting Navy clients and ensure all contract deliverables meet strict standards.
• Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, and budgets aligned with Navy acquisition and performance requirements.
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal functional teams and government stakeholders.
• Manage the full software and hardware development lifecycle using Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate potential program performance risks while fostering a culture of innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, MIS, or Business.
• 15+ years of technical experience in equipment, system, and programmatic support.
• 8+ years of Program Management experience managing teams of over 100 personnel.
• 5+ years of experience supporting Navy Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Intelligence (C4I) systems.
• In-depth knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies.
• Active Top Secret Clearance is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Project Management Certification: PMP, PgMP, or DAWIA Advanced/Level 2-3.
• CSWF Certification (IAM II designation) such as CISSP, CISM, CGRC, GSLC, or CASP.
• Experience utilizing DevOps tools for management, analysis, and reporting.
