HR Generalist

HR Generalist (HR Operations): Providing comprehensive HR support for South Region sites (Tulsa and Huntsville) with an accent on employee relations, talent acquisition, and workforce planning. Focus on coaching managers, optimizing onboarding processes, and enhancing employee engagement within a manufacturing environment.

Location: Onsite in Huntsville, AL and Tulsa, OK

What you will do

• Partner with and coach managers to effectively address and resolve employee relations issues.
• Drive recruitment efforts and partner with facility managers to assess workforce planning needs.
• Manage administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientations, and exit/stay interviews.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding payroll and benefits.
• Develop, implement, and communicate company policies and procedures.
• Create a positive work environment through employee newsletters and engagement events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources.
• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment supporting hourly and salaried staff.
• Strong knowledge of employment/labor law and progressive HR practices.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with Workday or UKG Kronos is highly desirable.
• Ability to travel to South Region facilities as required.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice to have

• PHR or SPHR certification.
