TL;DR

Manager, Compensation (HR): Leading the design and administration of global compensation programs with an accent on annual merit planning and market benchmarking. Focus on aligning compensation spend with business performance and managing core annual cycles for a high-performance workforce.

Location: Hybrid (Austin, Texas). Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no sponsorship provided).

What you will do

  • Lead development and execution of annual merit planning, LTI budget modeling, and STI bonus forecasting.
  • Provide strategic support for sales compensation plans, including design, quota setting, and payout validation.
  • Benchmark roles using market data sources like Radford, Mercer, and WTW to ensure competitive positioning.
  • Maintain job architecture and career frameworks to ensure internal equity across geographies.
  • Manage and coach two direct reports to ensure high-quality delivery and professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements and H-1B regulations.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of progressive compensation experience, including program management.
  • 2–4+ years of experience as a people manager.
  • Proven track record of leading annual compensation cycles (merit, bonus, equity).
  • Advanced Excel and data modeling skills.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. is required; the company is unable to sponsor employment visas.

Nice to have

  • Experience in high-growth or fast-paced environments.
  • Exposure to global compensation or executive equity programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, or Business; CCP certification or Master's degree is a plus.
