Senior Paralegal (Blockchain): Manage commercial contracts, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and legal operations across multiple jurisdictions with an accent on digital assets, staking, DeFi, and cross-border matters. Location: Remote within the United States, preference for East Coast.

Salary: $80,000 - $130,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Draft, review, and manage commercial agreements including SaaS/IaaS, NDAs, vendor, partnership, and data processing contracts; develop templates and workflows.
• Handle global entity records, formations, qualifications, dissolutions, regulatory filings, board resolutions, cap tables, and subsidiary management.
• Monitor digital asset, staking, and DeFi regulations across US, EU/MiCA, UK, APAC; support license applications and regulator correspondence.
• Assist with data privacy (GDPR, CCPA), employment/HR matters, government inquiries, subpoenas, and marketing materials review.
• Own legal operations including CLM system, document repositories, workflows, e-signatures, and tooling improvements.

Requirements

• 8+ years paralegal experience in-house or law firm, at least 2 years senior.
• Strong background in corporate/commercial law and technology contracts.
• Experience with international entity management and multi-jurisdictional filings.
• Proficiency with CLM software (Ironclad, SpotDraft), DocuSign, GSuite/M365.
• Excellent written communication and organizational skills; comfortable with autonomy and ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Experience in blockchain, crypto, Web3, or digital asset companies.
• Familiarity with MiCA, VASP/AMLD5, FCA, FinCEN regulations.
• Exposure to GDPR, CCPA, or other data protection frameworks.
• Experience supporting intercompany restructurings.
