Location: Hybrid (San Francisco, CA) — Expectation of working at least three days per week in the office

Salary: $160K – $225K base + $50K – $150K equity

What you will do

• Design and build pricing algorithms and auction mechanisms to shape supply and demand interactions.
• Develop attendance and reliability models to determine worker-workplace relationships.
• Construct and maintain experiment frameworks used across the entire organization.
• Conduct deep-dive investigations into key metric movements and their underlying causes.
• Collaborate with engineers to transition quantitative models from prototype to production.
• Communicate complex analytical reasoning and product decisions to PMs and leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, engineering, mathematics, or commensurate practical experience.
• Proven experience building and deploying quantitative models in applied or research settings.
• Proficiency in SQL or equivalent for direct data querying.
• Experience designing and analyzing controlled experiments.
• Must be based in or able to work from the San Francisco office at least three days per week.

Nice to have

• PhD in economics, econometrics, operations research, statistics, or engineering.
• Experience in quant finance, economic consulting, or marketplace environments.
• Strong track record of taking models from whiteboard to production.
• Expertise in causal identification methods such as diff-in-diff, IV, and regression discontinuity.
