What you will do

• Lead a team of data scientists focused on growth, discovery, incentives, ads, and ranking.
• Establish measurement foundations, including KPI frameworks, dashboards, and business review rhythms.
• Improve experimentation quality through better test design, guardrails, and observability.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Finance to drive analytical strategy for major investments.
• Manage, coach, and develop high-performing data scientists while hiring new talent.
• Implement modern tooling and AI-enabled workflows to increase team productivity.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data science, product analytics, or a quantitative field.
• 2+ years of experience managing or tech-leading quantitative teams.
• Must live within commuting distance of New York, Seattle, San Francisco, or Los Angeles hubs.
• Strong foundation in analytics, experimentation, causal reasoning, and statistical methodology.
• Proven track record of building measurement systems that improve decision quality.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• Experience with two-sided platforms, pricing, LTV, or marketplace health.
• Background in ranking, recommendations, or growth experimentation.
• Experience building methodologies that scaled beyond an immediate team.
