What you will do

• Manage the CAD library, including the development of standardized symbols, design blocks, and templates.
• Establish, document, and enforce company-wide CAD standards across multiple locations.
• Collaborate with engineering, mechanical design, and production teams to maintain layout libraries for repeatable products.
• Drive innovation in CAD workflows to reduce design time and minimize manufacturing errors.
• Create, edit, and maintain AutoLISP routines for automation.
• Develop training programs and provide guidance to engineers and CAD users on best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in CAD management or library development within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD and/or DraftSight, including advanced Dynamic block creation.
• Ability to install and configure AutoCAD using customized installations and resource mappings.
• Must be based in or able to work from Jacksonville, Florida to support workstation setups and local operations.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and/or SolidWorks Electrical.
• Experience in electrical or mechanical equipment manufacturing.
• Familiarity with process documentation and training program development.
