What you will do

• Create detailed electrical wiring, panel, and layout drawings using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Interpret customer specifications and schematics to ensure compliance with NEC, UL, CSA, and ANSI standards.
• Develop and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) within the CAD and ERP systems.
• Support production teams by resolving design questions and drawing issues during equipment manufacturing.
• Research new materials and components to drive product evolution and design improvements.
• Assist with prototype builds, testing, and analysis to validate designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Materials Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Must be based in the US; visa sponsorship and relocation are not provided.
• Working knowledge of CAD software for generating specifications and drafting.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and create alternative technical solutions.
• Effective communication skills for reporting and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar intelligent electrical CAD software.
• Knowledge of UL 508A control panel design standards.
• Familiarity with industrial power systems and generator controls.
