What you will do

• Conduct reviews of BSCR calculations for Group and US entities to provide effective challenge to the first line.
• Maintain and enhance BSCR calculation tools and implement BMA rules and guidance into modelling solutions.
• Deliver comprehensive analysis and insights on capital adequacy to inform business planning and strategic decision-making.
• Support capital impact assessments across multiple scenarios and stress tests for new products or reinsurance structures.
• Collaborate with Risk Management, Finance, Actuarial, and Investments teams to align regulatory capital with ERM frameworks.
• Design and maintain robust controls around the end-to-end BSCR process, including data validation and governance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of actuarial experience in P&C (re)insurance.
• 5+ years of direct, hands-on experience with Bermuda regulatory capital calculations (BSCR).
• Near-qualified or fully qualified actuary (e.g., FIA, FSA, FCIA, FCAS).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Economics.
• Familiarity with regulatory regimes such as Solvency II, US RBC, and ICS.
• Experience interacting with regulators, auditors, or rating agencies.
