Asset & Wealth Management, XIG, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Evergreen Funds, Private Markets, Extended Managing Director

Location: New York, NY, United States

Base salary: $125,000–$250,000 per year, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead financial reporting, SEC filings, SOX certifications, regulatory filings, and annual audit processes for evergreen funds.
• Oversee fund valuation and NAV processes in partnership with Controllers and Lead Portfolio Managers.
• Support portfolio construction and ensure compliance with the Investment Company Act of 1940 and RIC requirements.
• Manage capital planning, quarterly tender offer execution, liquidity, and credit oversight.
• Prepare Board materials and present matters related to the Board’s oversight of the evergreen funds.
• Partner with Co-CEOs, Lead Portfolio Managers, tax, risk management, and other senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or an MBA.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles.
• Strong financial acumen and prior experience in alternative investments, especially evergreen private markets offerings.
• Experience in Chief Financial Officer or Chief Accounting Officer roles or teams.
• Proactive, hands-on, process-oriented approach with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in New York, United States.
