Director, Capital Markets

Location: Remote - East Coast, United States

Annual base salary: $225,000–$280,000 USD, plus benefits and equity.

RUM Group operates an AI infrastructure and video business, including Quake AI data centers and hirify.global’s video technology platform for creators and enterprises.

What you will do

• Develop and execute capital-markets strategies supporting growth, acquisitions, refinancing, capital investments, and long-term capital structure objectives.
• Evaluate financing alternatives and lead the structuring, negotiation, diligence, and execution of credit facilities, term loans, notes, guarantees, and other financing instruments.
• Oversee liquidity and capital-structure planning, including cash-flow forecasting, borrowing capacity, debt maturities, covenant headroom, and contingency funding.
• Monitor borrowing costs, leverage, interest expense, credit metrics, refinancing risk, and other financial exposures.
• Build relationships with banks, lenders, investors, rating agencies, underwriters, legal counsel, and financial advisors.
• Lead and develop the Capital Markets team while improving models, reporting, governance, controls, and transaction processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 8–12+ years of progressively responsible experience in capital markets, treasury, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, commercial banking, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience evaluating, structuring, negotiating, and executing debt, equity, or other financing transactions.
• Experience managing liquidity, debt facilities, capital structure, financial covenants, lender reporting, and external financing relationships.
• Advanced financial modeling, valuation, scenario-planning, analytical, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate internal stakeholders, lenders, investors, advisors, and legal counsel through closing and post-close compliance.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, CFA, CTP, or comparable professional designation.
• Experience with public-company financing, investor engagement, rating agencies, high-yield credit, private credit, project finance, or complex multi-entity structures.
• Experience supporting financing for data centers, cloud, AI infrastructure, technology, energy, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, or major capital-investment programs.
• Experience with debt or derivative accounting, debt compliance reporting, capital-allocation frameworks, or Board-level financing analyses.
