Vice President, Portfolio Finance

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Optimize liquidity and financing usage across private equity and private credit portfolios.
• Build and maintain forward-looking models covering deal pipelines, capital flows, asset lifecycle events, and financing transactions.
• Monitor cash levels, financing facilities, leverage targets, and portfolio performance metrics.
• Source and negotiate subscription line, NAV, and asset-backed credit facilities with lenders.
• Coordinate projection accuracy and economic decision-making across investment, risk, operations, accounting, and tax teams.
• Manage FX hedging processes and direct and mentor Associates and Senior Associates.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of investment management experience and at least 3 years managing private market processes and portfolios, including permanent or open-ended capital structures.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and financial engineering skills.
• Familiarity with treasury and financing functions, products, and providers.
• Experience collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize and independently execute projects while managing support staff.
• Experience with programming languages such as R, database design, and analytical tool development is desirable.

• Experience with private markets credit facilities.
• Advanced degree with a background in quantitative finance or modeling.
• Structured finance experience.
