What you will do

• Drive comprehensive safety programs using data-driven strategies and daily safety audits.
• Lead incident investigations and risk assessments to prevent workplace injuries.
• Deliver safety training to associates and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Serve as a safety advisor and advocate for associate wellbeing across all levels of the organization.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 49 pounds and standing for up to 12 hours during shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an EHS-related field, or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or 6 months of safety experience within hirify.global.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Must be based in San Bernardino, CA.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a safety-related field.
• Experience in emergency response and current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Experience in workers compensation case management.
• Experience leading and managing a team and analyzing accident data.
