What you will do

• Assemble and install equipment involving simple wiring, soldering, and connecting.
• Perform routine tests, such as tensile or hardness tests, and operate simple test equipment.
• Maintain engineering records, including tests, drawings, and plotting data/graphs.
• Construct components, subunits, or simple models based on layouts and scientific diagrams.
• Extract and compile engineering data from field notes and manuals to identify inconsistencies.
• Assist in design modifications by compiling relevant specification and material data.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology, math, or science, or equivalent formal electronics training/GED.
• 3-5 years of practical experience in engineering documents and drawings (depending on education level).
• Ability to perform routine tasks under close supervision.
• Active Secret Clearance required upon hire.
• Must become Cybersecurity Work Force (CSWF) qualified within 9 months.
